ugh....
couldn't figure it out either

almost everything there affect others. The only independent 'growth' is the pillar(house). whatever u do it will grow on a steady rate.

AHa Andrew, I shall give you a clue now that I have FINALLY finished it!!
THe only thing that doesnt NEED anything to affect its growth at the start is the little man....then put in the water.....
if you start with those two you will find that if you keep track and watch how the stuff grows you will see what needs to go next...btw do the ball last!!
Try it!! :) its so satisfying when you finally finish...I spent two straight hours doing it last nite until I finally worked it all out and got it done!! But I should have taken more notice of the affects when I started doing it cos then it wouldnt have taken so long :P
oooooh grow rpg? I will have to try that one too! :)

yea i knew man and water have to be one of the first.

the water is needed for the plants to grow, and the plants need to grow for the cooking to be done. but then again the cooking need fire. arghhh

highly addictive :)

haha yeah I know, this is the BIG STRESS time!
Im freaking out just with my essays and podcasts and dissertation in the background...since I started mid year...so I dread to think what it must be like for you :( poor thing

yes, it is apparantly another one of those 'star wars' types...i've seen a couple of reviews and heard some too, and they all seem to suggest the whole connection to 'star wars' in its early days, ie promise of exciting things, potential, characters with charm like han solo etc

did you like star wars?
I swear, even if you had your head down a hole, someone would manage to show you a Serenity poster...
more than anything, I think the advertising and presence of Serenity hype has made me less enthused over seeing it...
I like the name though, "Serenity"...could of won some tix last nite on the radio if I spelt it correctly, but was driving at the time :P

Hehe not really a fan of star wars.

I agreed that Serenity is a nice name for a film. But I woulda think its one of those sappy love stories thingie. haha ;P

not so much a sci-fiction movie ;O

awww sappy love stories!
Said by a man who obviously isnt into sap :P

They are a bit sickening yes...but its nice to get away from the reality of the highly non sappy romances of today's society, and remember a time (or a future time/space) in which romance is alive! (with additional sap :P)

You know what Serenity makes me think of? It makes me think of films like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and House of Daggers and all that...in other words..those beautifully cinematic films...

I'll have you know I actually like 'sappy' love stories! ;P

To be honest tho, crouching tiger and hidden dragons and all those clones are kinda boring to me. Its nothing special really. Coz before these movies broke through to the western entertainment industry, there are already ALOT of them lying around ;)

Walking on roofs..done that
running on waters...yawn
flying through bushes...DUH

All they did was beefed up the special effects and get better looking actors; other then that its pretty much the same! hehe

is this in anyway related to partipatory culture? UH OH ;P

...
hmmm
...

Oh oh i know! we are Critiquing movies! so umm..we are like...u know..participating in err..giving valuable feedback to the next movie making...yea that's it! we are GREAT :p
